Many of our patients are surprised by the fact that Smile Clinic offers free dental consultations to all it’s visitors, as it’s typical to charge for this up to €200 in some other Slovak dental clinics.
This is part of our mission to ensure that everyone in Slovakia gets the chance to know exactly what’s the state of their current oral health, and exactly what’s needed to get it exact they way they want in to be, regardless of if they choose us for their any dental treatment needed or not.
First things first
When you first arrive and meet our staff, you’ll fill out your new patient paperwork. This helps our team get to know you better. We ask that you arrive 15 minutes early to complete your paperwork.

You’ll sit down with a Smile Clinic dentist to chat about your dental treatment, medical history, and why you’re here. Next, is a thorough oral exam to help us diagnose a comprehensive treatment plan that’s right for you. This is important, because we believe in seeing the full picture so we can get you the healthy mouth you deserve.
Diagnostic Technology
In order to get a better look at your entire mouth, a digital OPG x-ray or CT-scan is needed. X-rays allow you and our dentists to see things that normally can’t be seen, plus check for bone fractures, cysts, tumors, lesions, and sinus issues.
Unless you have an x-ray that is less than 6 months old to bring along with you, we charge just €27 for this x-ray (as our CBCT digital x-ray machine is so advanced, there are currently less than 30 places in Slovakia where an x-ray of any similar type can be done).

For you to be proud of your teeth is our goal. Consultation with the patient manager
After the Smile Clinic dentist finishes up with your exam, our patient manager will sit down with you. Her goal is to answer any additional questions or concerns you might have, like payment and treatment length options. Our goal is always patient peace of mind.
