Why do dental and cosmetic dentistry treatments cost less at Smile Clinic Slovakia?

In central Europe, property costs much less, and wages are also less than in western Europe. This means the cost of dental work can be 50-70% less for treatments such as implants, bridge and crown work, and even preventive dentistry is half /one-third of Western European prices. However, the quality of central European dental services is acknowledged as excellent all over Europe. 

How do I know the materials are of good quality?

We use only the best quality products and will let you know before treatment what products we will be using.  We don’t use mumbo jumbo jargon or fast-talking phrases to confuse you. If you are comparing our products to Western Europe, please make sure you are comparing apples to apples, not apples and oranges.  We’ll tell you about our products so you can make sure you have the same information from your home country dentist. Our surgeries are equipped with state-of-the-art equipment, and the products of the best-known brands, such as Branemark dental implants, Ankylos dental implants and Cerec 3 crowns, are used by our professionals.

If I choose implants, how many visits to the dentist will I need, and how long will it take?

It depends on the kind of treatment you need. Each case is unique; therefore, we recommend contacting us regarding this question. If we know your specific needs, we can determine the number of visits required and the period over which they should be scheduled for your treatment.

Do you provide any guarantee for treatments?

We provide a guarantee on implants and cosmetic dental work, which is in line with and in some cases exceeds International standards. In case of implant failure, our dentist will replace the implant at no additional cost to you.

What can I do if complications occur?

Complications are unlikely to happen, but infections can arise even if the treatment is undertaken with proficiency and care. If this happens, we encourage you to contact us immediately, and we will help you find the most effective solution for your problem.

Do you accept credit cards?

All major credit cards are accepted at our clinic without extra charge, including Visa, MasterCard, etc.

Are there any extra charges?

We do not charge for consultation, x-rays, or credit card payment – therefore, the cost of your dental treatment is known to you before we start any treatment.

Can I get an experienced dentist?

Yes, Smile Clinic Slovakia has been reviewed as the top dental clinic abroad. Our premier dentist, Dr. Marek Salka, has been working with patients since 2006 and treats all our UK patients at our clinic in Piešťany.  He has performed over a thousand dental implants, crowns and porcelain veneers.  He has more than 15 years of experience in treating patients. Our dentists and specialists continuously refresh and improve their professional skills through participation in national and International courses and workshops.

What about the language?  Will I be able to communicate in English?

Yes!  The Smile Clinic Slovakia staff speaks English. Our staff will provide continuous ongoing personal support. They will help to make your stay safe and pleasant by supplying all the necessary information regarding dental work, aftercare and follow-up visits.

Where are you located?

We have two locations: Bratislava, the capital of Slovakia and Smile Clinic (Dental Holiday) located in Piešťany, a spa town just north of Bratislava.
